Nearly every youth who experiences Scouting does so with members of their family. The degrees of family involvement may vary, but ultimately, Scouting provides an opportunity to strengthen ties between family members, create great family memories, and develop a shared family foundation of worthwhile virtues and values. For more than 100 years, Scouting has brought families together around shared values. Generations Connection reconnects families and individuals to Scouting by providing an opportunity to celebrate the ways that Scouting strengthens families and nurtures important bonds. In a unique partnership with the National Arbor Day Foundation, Scout families will have an opportunity to plant a BSA Centennial tree. |
